Obituary

"Life is too short to worry about what others say or think about you, so have fun and give them something to talk about."

Ernestine Kay Moore Bass was born to the late Wayne Palmer Moore and the late Ruth Wansey Toppah Moore She resided in Anadarko, Oklahoma most of her adult life but would be happy to tell you where she came from - as she loved sharing her stories and adventures with family south east of Carnegie, Oklahoma at her grandmother's old home place.

Ernie Kay was a cook by trade and cooked for most of her life. Be it for work, family, or just because she wanted to create something from scratch with/for her grandkids. She was the best aunt, the best to keep secrets and never judge you. All she wanted was for her loved ones to be happy and enjoy life. She was the one to make the family laugh, but she was ornery too - if you had nothing good to say, sit by her, she'd add to it - then laugh and you'd either be in a better mood, or feel silly for being so petty.

She was a friend to everyone and loved children when they visited her home - her latest explanation to things "I am the village crazy lady, that's my job." (which she stole from her favorite movie.)

She is survived by her daughter, Genevieve of the home and son Edgar "Pooh Bear" Moore of McAlester, Oklahoma. Her grandchildren Joshua and his fiance Shanda; Renora and Byron of Anadarko, Oklahoma; Matthew and his wife Bobbi Jo of Seiling; Micah and Dominic of Chickasha, Oklahoma; her other babies Cujo, Meg, and Fatboy; her other girls she shared with her sisters: Leah Park of Moore, Carmen Brown of Chickasha, LaCretia Toppah of Tulsa, and Bobbi Collier of Virginia. Her Aunt Ada Toppah of Carnegie, Jennie Toppah of Weatherford and Uncle Ernest Toppah and wife Melva of Carnegie. as well as several family members she cared for but too numerous to mention.

She is preceded in death by her husband Marvin "Bo" Bass, her sons Eli James Moore and Michael Ray Moore, her parents, her partner in crime/best friend/sister Esther Jean Toppah and sisters Elizabeth Conklin and Renora Moore. Her uncles D.K. & Lindy Toppah. Her aunts Ila, Carol, & Naomi. Her grandparents Cheevers & Esther Toppah and Lizzy Williams.

She was proud to be a member of the D.K. Lonewolf Descendent.
