Obituary

Marc Alan Barr. 28 years old, from Commerce City, CO passed on October 2, 2018.

Services will be at 10:00 A.M. at Ray & Martha's Funeral Home in Anadarko on October 6, 2018 with Pastor Andrew Ware officiating.

He was born in Lawton, Oklahoma on December 29, 1989.

He left for the Marine Corp in 2009 to San Diego, MCRD. He graduated in April 2009, and later came home and graduated from Riverside Indian School. While going to Riverside he attended Criminal Justice for two years at Vo-Tech. While he was stationed at Camp Pendleton, he met his beautiful wife, Erika Proo Barr. They were married on December 17, 2011 in Las Vegas. They moved to Colorado and he enlisted in the Reserves as a sergeant. While in Reserves he was employed with Waste Management, and he attended Colorado Technical University.

He attended Bethel Baptist Church. He took great pride and loved being Baptist.

He enjoyed spending time with his wife, family and friends, especially his handsome son. He was loved by so many. He would come home and he brought everyone together. He was a very popular man. His wife's family took him in immediately as a part of their family. He was truly outstanding.

He is preceded in death by:
Paternal grandparents: Davey and Sue Wheeler and Rosalyn Silverhorn Stevens
Great-Grandmother: Virginia Horse-Guerrero.

Services are under the direction of Ray & Martha's Funeral Home of Anadarko, Oklahoma

I only knew Marc from our time in Criminal Justice class, we were a tight knit group and he was always smiling and happy. I'm glad I got to share with him a little about my time in service when he informed me he was enlisting. We all rooted for him, and are proud of him. Hes missed beyond words. Marc was a great asset to Waste Management.  He was so excited when he told me he was going to be a dad. After the baby was born he would show pictures often. He also brought his son in to meet me. Marc was all about his wife and baby. He was a great man and always made many people smile. Marc you are so missed by all. RIP my friend. Prayers to the family.

May condolences to Mary and family!! I remember Mark as a little boy and how MannyLee and him mat! When lived in the country in Gracemont!!
