Obituary

Minnie Dennis, the final survivor of twelve children, was born August 23, 1931 in Bold Springs, Oklahoma to Oliver Clinton and Vera Etta (Melton) Robertson. She passed away peacefully from this life and went to be with our Lord in the late-night hours of Thursday, November 29, 2018 in Chickasha, Oklahoma with loved ones by her side.
She grew up helping her parents with the farm, blacksmithing, and the syrup and cornmeal mill which served all of Johnston County. Losing her daddy at a young age greatly affected her life, she never tackled anything as a casual observer. She loved gardening, canning, sewing and cooking each were always accomplished with perfection. She took it upon herself to complete the necessary requirements and received her GED while in her sixties.
She married the love of her life, Floyd Dennis on December 26, 1944 at the Marshall County Courthouse in Madill, Oklahoma. To this union, six children were born: two daughters and four sons. In 1951 the family moved to California. In 1966 she started pastoring Indian Mission Churches while residing in Annapolis, California They pastored in Wellington, Shears, Fallon and Gabbs Nevada, Anadarko and Oklahoma City. She managed several businesses including 7-11, a drapery shop, Apartment Complex and Hotels. Her life experiences were far reaching, and we will never know how many lives she touched on this side of heaven.
Minne is survived by:
