My heart is broken to hear this news! I went to see her the night of the November election and they told me they sent her home because she was so sick.  We always had such a good time thinking about the days that Janet and Jetta would come by the house on Saturdays to take her shopping with them.  I loved Janet with all my heart.  My heart breaks with you, Jetta and Ron! Praying for you in the days ahead.  I will always hold a special place in my heart for this awesome lady!!!! Love and hugs, Beverly

There were times it seemed that she and I were the only republicans in Carnegie along with her sweet parents.  She served her community as an able school board member and the republican representative at every election since her appointment in the late seventies or early eighties.

It was a pleasure to work with Janet as an officer with the Caddo County Election Board. She was always a bright spirit and made sure that election procedure was followed. I learned a great deal from her, and she will be missed.

Janet is my grandmother and could never be replaced. "Nanny," as we all knew her, was tirelessly devoted to her family and community. She always put others first and was an important figure in shaping my life and the man I am today. Her Christian faith was the foundation for all of us and we are eternally grateful for her life and her love for us. Our hope is that her legacy and light to the world will be carried on by each of us. She will be forever missed, but never forgotten. We love you, Nanny.

The greatest woman I will ever know.  Words can not describe how much she meant to us all and how much she will be missed. I have never known a more giving and devoted person. Her love and faith will continue to inspire me and guide my life as it always has. I am so thankful to have been blessed with such an amazing grandmother. We love you Nanny, thank you for always being there for us and for being such a great role model. I am forever grateful for everything you taught me and the love you shared with us.

Janet was a person with a wonderful spirit of love for all who knew her.  We communicated almost daily through our Computer network and sharing our family pictures while taking a look at life's journey.  It was a terrible shock to hear of her passing.  I know she will be deeply missed by all.  I truly believe God has a special place for her in the road ahead. RIP

I was shocked to learn of the passing of our beloved Janet.  She was such a kind and gentle guiding force for our Election Board.  We all learned so much from her.  She will be greatly missed by all who worked with and knew her, of which there were many.  Sue and I always looked forward to her bouncing through the door on Election evening, full of excitement and energy.  She leaves a void that will be difficult to fill.
