ObituaryElla Rose Jay passed away on June 15, 2018 at her home in Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. Ella Rose was born March 13, 1945 in Lawton, Oklahoma to Matthew and Clara Silverhorn Tofpi.
Ella Rose attended school in Carnegie graduating with the Class of 1963. She married Bobby Jay March 22, 1963 in Anadarko, Oklahoma. Ella Rose was a member of the Kiowa Tribe of Oklahoma and Cedar Creek United Methodist Church in Carnegie, Oklahoma. She worked as a Headstart Teacher for Washita Valley Headstart for many years.
Ella Rose is survived by four daughters:
Cheryl Jay and companion Vincent Shomo of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma
Claudine Yvonne Moran and husband Monte of Bixby, Oklahoma
Barbara Lei Tana Jay Tovar of Wichita Falls, Texas
Donis Michele Tiger and husband Brian of Lawton, Oklahoma
Bobbie Moran & companion Johnny Mahsetky, of Mustang, Oklahoma, Amber Jay of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, Skye Jay of Killeen, Texas, Chalemah Jay of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma, Maggie Jones of Japan, Aimee Wetselline & companion Andrew LookingGlass of Ft. Cobb, Ok., Alanis Jones of Wichita Falls, Texas, Kylei Jay of Lawton, Ok., Keilee Jay of Lawton, Ok., Ashley Mousseaux of Killeen, Texas and her only Grandson, Nigel Jay of Ft. Cobb, Oklahoma.

She is also survived by her furry family member, Brutus Nesahkluah and her grand dogs, Carly and Cooper Moran.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Jay, her parents, two brothers Larry Tofpi and Terry Silverhorn, One sister Phyllis Daniels. Her grandparents James Silverhorn, & Clara Rose Silverhorn and paternal grandparents, Carl Tofpi and Jenny Ella Tofpi.

My condolences to the family, Ella was a Good Woman, not many like her. She was a great sister/cousin and I'll truly miss her. Always had good thing's to say whenever I was able to make it home. Kindergarten teacher to my youngest at Fort Cobb, my baby is 32 now. R.I.P.

My auntie was one of the most supportive people when I joined the Air Force. I wish I could be home to be with my dear family but I know she’s happy to finally not suffer anymore. She was a great auntie to me and I’m thankful to God for having her in my life.
